Nunoo Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026
Nunoo is made by FMI Systems Limited, a software company based in the United Kingdom. This policy says what the app collects, why, who handles it, and how you can delete it. The app is simple, so the policy is short.
Nunoo stores your email, names, pet activity and purchases to run the app, plus crash and usage data. No ads, and we never sell your data or follow you across other apps or websites.
What we collect
- Your email address. To create your account and sign you in.
- Your display name, and your partner's display name. To show who did what. You and your partner see each other's names.
- Your pet and your care activity. The pet's name, the feed, play and rest actions you take, their times, and your shared history.
- Your pairing details. The invite code and the link between you and your partner.
- Your device push token and time zone. Only if you allow notifications, so we can send care reminders and partner alerts. If you say no, we do not collect a token.
- Outfit purchases. If you buy an optional outfit, our purchase provider RevenueCat, working with Apple, records the purchase and a transaction reference, so both of you can use the outfit. We never see your card or payment details. Apple handles those.
- Crash reports and app usage. Sentry collects crash and error reports. PostHog records which screens are opened, in-app events and app open and close events. These are tied to an internal account ID only. They are never tied to your email, your name or your invite code. We do not record your screen, and we ask PostHog and Sentry not to store your IP address.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, health data or browsing history.
How we use it
Only to run Nunoo: to keep your shared pet in sync between you and your partner, to send the notifications you allowed, to process outfit purchases, and to find and fix problems. We never sell your data, the app has no ads, and we do not follow you across other apps or websites.
Who handles it
These service providers process data for us, only to provide their service.
| Provider | What it receives |
|---|---|
| Supabase | Your email address, display name and partner's display name, pet name, care actions and history, pairing details, push token and time zone, and the record of which outfits your couple owns. This is where your account lives. |
| PostHog (United States) | Your internal account ID, screens opened, in-app events and app open and close events. Never your email, name or invite code. No screen recording. |
| Sentry | Crash and error reports with device and app version details, performance timings, and your internal account ID. Never your email or name. |
| RevenueCat (with Apple) | Your internal account ID and your outfit purchase records and transaction references. Apple takes payment; we never see card details. |
| Expo and Apple | Your push token, and the text of the notification, to deliver it to your phone. |
Some of these providers process data outside the United Kingdom, under standard data-protection safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data until you delete your account. When a couple ends, the shared pet and its history are deleted. Crash and usage records stay with Sentry and PostHog, and purchase records with RevenueCat and Apple, until removed on request as described below or under their own retention settings.
Deleting your data
Delete your account any time in the app: Settings, then Delete account. Your partner is unlinked and loses the shared pet.
Deleting your account in the app removes your profile, couple, pet, history and notification token from our database straight away. Copies held by our analytics, crash-report and purchase providers (PostHog, Sentry, RevenueCat) are linked only to an internal account ID, not your email or name. Email privacy@nunoo.app and we will have them removed within 30 days. Apple keeps its own purchase records under its own policy.
If you cannot open the app, see how to request deletion by email.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, you can ask to see, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to take a copy of it. Email us at the address below. You can also complain to your data-protection authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
Children
Nunoo is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will change the date at the top and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
